Our Maekake aprons are made from thick cotton canvas, ensuring durability and comfort. Inspired by the ornamental garments worn by sumo wrestlers, each apron is dyed with a rich indigo using traditional resist-dyeing techniques. This process allows the intricate white designs to shine through without fading or bleeding, even after multiple washes.

The apron’s belt, dyed in blue and white colors, provides sturdy lower back support when tied in the traditional fashion. It also features a roomy pocket on the right side for added functionality—perfect for tools, essentials, or even your phone.
